A delicious creamy cauliflower dish that will make everyone ask for a second serving!

Steps

1
Done

Turn the oven on 180°C / 350°F

Let the oven pre heat while you are prepping the vegetables and Sauce.

2
Done

Preparing the Vegetables:

Rinse and cut the vegetables into bite size pieces.
Place the Broccoli, Cauliflower and cabbage in your steamer or pot to cook. Careful not to over cook, only cook the vegetables a little over half way as they will cook more in the oven and might mash when you add the sauce.

3
Done

Preparing the Bacon and Muschrooms:

*Optional: Using extra smoky bacon adds some nice smokey flavour to the recipe. Fry the chopped bacon and mushrooms in a hot pan until the bacon is nice and crispy and the mushrooms are ready. Salt the bacon if needed.

4
Done

Preparing the sauce:

In a small bowl mix the cream cheese, some pepper and warm water until you have a nice thin creamy mixture about the same consistency as cream.

5
Done

In a large mixing bowl combine, all the veg, bacon mix, cream cheese sauce, spring onion and parmesan cheese. You can also add a small sprinkle of salt and pepper now as needed. Gently stir until the ingredients are well combined. Transfer the vegetable combination into an oven safe glass casserole dish. Top off with your grated mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 10min - 15min until the cheese has melted and is starting to golden.
